A pre-race sample was taken from Line Stepper
Aston Amigo and Retro Rocket collided soon after the start. Diesel Runner and Line Stepper collided soon after the start. Thylacine and Mepunga Grace collided soon after the start. Retro Rocket, Thylacine, Mepunga Grace and Line Stepper collided on the first turn. Retro Rocket and Curator collided approaching the second turn.
Line Stepper underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Mepunga Freda - winner of the event.
