Mahogany Jet and Kuro Kismet collided soon after the start.  Kuro Kismet and Mahogany Jet collided approaching the first turn.  Kuro Kismet collided and Kutcher's Ruslie on the first turn.  Mahogany Jet checked off Kuro Kismet entering the back straight.  Paddy Wants Pats checked off Kuro Kismet in the back straight. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Line Stepper with trainer Jason Hardy and noted his comments.

Fernando Bella, Mepunga Freda and Curator collided soon after the start, checking Mepunga Freda.  Fernando Bella and Mepunga Freda collided approaching the first turn.  Fernando Bella and Lucy's Villa collided on the first turn, checking Fernando Bella.  Aston Amigo and Lucy's Villa collided approaching the third turn. 

Line Stepper underwent a post-race veterinary examination.--No apparent injury was detected.

Crackerjack Dirt and Our Girl Bailee were quick to begin. 

Our Girl Bailee and Stretch Butler collided soon after the start.  Arlington and Konta collided approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Dirt, Our Girl Bailee and Arlington collided on the first turn.  Our Girl Bailee checked off Arlington approaching the second turn.  Charango checked off Konta on the second turn.  Crackerjack Dirt and Konta collided in the back straight.  Crackerjack Dirt and Konta collided approaching the third turn. 

Stewards queried trainer Mr. Aaron Blake regarding the scratching of Born A Guru from this event. Stewards listened to evidence presented by the trainer and were satisifed with the explanation provided.

Savannah Lee was quick to begin. 

Room To Boom, Evil Deed and Why Not Lilah collided approaching the first turn, checking Evil Deed and Why Not Lilah.  Whispy Watson and Dancing Rose collided approaching the second turn.  Dancing Rose checked off Whispy Watson on the second turn.  Whispy Watson raced wide approaching the third turn.  Evil Deed checked off Room To Boom on the home turn, checking Dancing Rose.

The start of this event was delayed for 20 seconds whilst the track was cleared to ensure the safety of all runners.

Vegas Gangster was slow to begin. 

Arcanine, Rockin' Rosie, Freda Rocks and Selynya Teddy collided soon after the start, checking Rockin' Rosie and Freda Rocks.  Mepunga Sparkle, Arcanine and Sizzling Sam collided on the first turn.  Rockin' Rosie faltered entering the front straight and tailed off as a result.  Arcanine, Sizzling Sam, Mepunga Sparkle and Vegas Gangster collided on the second turn, checking Mepunga Sparkle and Vegas Gangster and severely checking Sizzling Sam.  Sizzling Sam checked off Vegas Gangster in the back straight.  Freda Rocks turned it's head outwards in the home straight and collided with Selynya Teddy. Mepunga Sparkle veered out and raced ungenerous in the home straight.

Mepunga Sparkle a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind quadriceps injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr R. Lyons regarding the racing manners of Mepunga Sparkle in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Lyons, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Rockin' Rosie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Freda Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Briganti the trainer of Freda Rocks regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Freda Rocks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr M Briganti pleaded guilty to the charge, Freda Rocks was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Think Big Harry was very slow to begin {3L}.

So Hazy, Weblec Ranger and Inga Leo collided soon after the start, checking Weblec Ranger.  Weblec Ranger, Inga Leo and Inga Mia collided on the first turn.  Inga Leo and Inga Mia collided on the second turn, checking Inga Mia and Golden Teddy.  Golded Teddy checked off Inga Mia on the third turn.  Weblec Ranger faltered on the third turn and lost considerable ground.

Weblec Ranger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind back muscle injury and a right hind triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards walked the tracked after the race and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
