A sample was taken from Ambitious upon arrival at the course.
Interrogate and Ultimate Coat were slow to begin.
Interrogate and Mepunga Knight collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds. Ambitious contacted the running rail on the second turn. Tynslee Bale checked off Keep It Black on the third turn. Interrogate and Lala Kiwi collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Ambitious underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Qwara Bale - the winner of the event.
