Quinetta Bale was quick to begin. Levator was slow to begin.
Levator and Keep It Classy collided soon after the start. Deadly Dream and Omaha Bale collided soon after the start. Levator contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground. Keep It Classy and Go Go Loopy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Buzz Out, Omaha Bale and Out Of Glory collided on the first turn checking Buzz Out and Omaha Bale. Keep It Classy contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and fell as a result checking Levator.
Levator underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a laceration to the left elbow. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
