All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Romarosa was quick to begin.  Oodnadatta Man was slow to begin.  Oodnadatta Man crossed out soon after the start.  Ron’s Hope and Dreams Unfold collided several times soon after the start. Ron’s Hope checked off Oodnadatta Man approaching the first turn.  Popyrin brushed the running rail approaching the first turn.  Dreams Unfold and River Raging collided on the home turn.  

Bucked Head – Late scratching at 1.53pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr I. Ognjenovic was fined $100.

Inga Daisy was quick to begin.  Inga Daisy and Run Topper collided on the first turn.

A post race sample was taken from Soda Felix - winner of the event.

An out of competition sample was taken from Manuka Boy on 8 March 2022 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Here Runs Katie.

Oriental Elsa was slow to begin.  Oriental Elsa and Manuka Boy collided on the first turn.  Here Runs Katie raced wide in the home straight.

Bully Bar - New declared weight of 28.9kg, last raced at 30.2kg.

Select Moss, Under His Spell and Jam Jam collided on the first turn.  Our Solitaire and Dr. Kye collided on the first turn checking Our Solitaire.  Bully Bar faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently pulled up.

Bully Bar underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right elbow and was humanely euthanised.

Following the running of this event Stewards inspected the track approaching the home turn and deemed the surface satisfactory for racing.

A pre-race sample was taken from Elswyk Sky.

Devon Lass, Audacious Pearl and Elswyk Sky collided approaching the first turn checking Elswyk Sky.  Zipping Caviar and Audacious Pearl collided entering the home straight.  Elswyk Sky checked off Audacious Pearl entering the home straight.

Orejitas - New declared weight of 33.7kg, last raced at 32.6kg.

Kamara Bale was quick to begin.  Blair’s Rex was slow to begin.  Blair’s Rex checked off Rooney approaching the first turn.  Tear Up contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Big City Nights raced wide in the home straight.

Tear Up underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

A post race sample was taken from Orejitas - winner of the event.

Bomber’s Smokey was quick to begin.  Bubbling Betty was slow to begin.  Go Saints Go and Bubbling Betty collided soon after the start.  Love A Collision, Rocket Power and Go Saints Go collided approaching the first turn checking Rocket Power, subsequently checking Ballymac Woman. Love A Collision raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Lila.

Princess Lace and Nitro Nikki collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Booker checked off Where’s The Bees on the first turn.  Nitro Nikki raced wide in the home straight.

Piece Of Heaven and Average Axel were slow to begin.  Afro Boy checked off Black Light Burn approaching the home turn.  Audacious Flame and Bella’s Night collided approaching the home turn. Bella’s Night checked off Audacious Flame in the home straight subsequently checking Afro Boy.  

Weeona Jack and Eau De Vie collided soon after the start.  Just Saying and Parzival collided soon after the start.  Just Saying, Eau De Vie and Weeona Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Eau De Vie.

Ziems Park Miss, Evanlee and Fidelia collided soon after the start.  Long Black Lass and Blazin’ Sushi collided on the first turn.

Metro Boomin’ went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Metro Boomin’ crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Ashby Mayhem and Red Nangana collided soon after the start checking Red Nangana.  Metro Boomin’ and Galloping Albi collided entering the home straight.

Black Power - FTP - Field of 6, Distance 400 metres, Weight 33.0kg, Box 7, Placed 3rd, Time run 23.29 secs.  Comment: Cleared all tracks except Sale.

Select Hypo - Marring - Field of 6, Distance 400 metres, Weight 25.5kg, Box 8, Placed 2nd, Time run 23.285 secs  Comment: Cleared all tracks except Ipswich.

A sample was taken from Everlast Queen and Select Hypo in accordance with GAR 79 (1), having been presented for a satisfactory trial.
