Riverdale Bonnie and Olivia Twist collided on the first turn. Miss Daisy Hill and Dance To Forget collided on the first turn. Miss Daisy Hill shifted out and turned it's head outwards and collided with Dance To Forget several times on the home turn. Miss Daisy Hill and Dance To Forget collided approaching the winning post.
Miss Daisy Hill underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wound left front leg. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Martin Taylor, Trainer, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Miss Daisy Hill was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Martin Taylor pleaded not guilty to the charge, Miss Daisy Hill was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
