All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 16.8 degrees and the kennel temperature was 16.1 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Bad Boy Vegas, Panda Mick and Global Gossip collided approaching the first turn. Panda Mick and Aston Arena collided on the first turn. Lady Belladonna and Bad Boy Vegas collided entering the home straight checking Lady Belladonna.

Bionic Queen, Space Cadet and Big John collided approaching the first turn. Big John and Space Cadet collided approaching the home turn checking Big John. Bionic Queen and Villanova collided in the home straight.

An out of competition sample was taken from Russian Berry on 21/12/21 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Global Fix, Candlelight Jazz and Ivanka Tea collided approaching the first turn. Russian Berry, Stylish Ken and Ivanka Tea collided on the first turn checking Stylish Ken. Stylish Ken, Candlelight Jazz and Summer Scorcher collided on the first turn checking Candlelight Jazz. Global Fix raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Rio Baskin, Koblenz and Mayhem Lass collided approaching the first turn. King Of Glory and Rio Baskin collided approaching the first turn checcking Rio Baskin. King Of Glory and Koblenz collided approaching the home turn checking King Of Glory.

A post-race sample was taken from Mayhem Lass. 

Eureka Icon and Twilight Rogue collided approaching the first turn checking Twilight Rogue.

King Gristle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Mepunga Grace, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Got A Repair, Meehan Tommy and In A Blue collided approaching the first turn checking Got A Repair and Meehan Tommy. In A Blue clipped the heels of Where's The Bees on the home turn. Where's The Bees and In A Blue collided in the home straight.

Jay For Jack and All Inn Jasper collided on the home turn. Jay For Jack raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Aston Profit was quick to begin. Nine Nine and Crabby Yabby collided approaching the first turn checking Nine Nine. Amazonian Queen and Crabby Yabby collided on the first turn. Kraken Skye and Nine Nine collided approaching the home turn checking Nine Nine.

It was noted that the muzzle of Crabby Yabby became dislodged during the running of the event.

Trickster Cabang and Entranced collided approaching the first turn. Sweet Suzie and Blue Yaala collided on the first turn. Joffa's Mayhem, Itchy Kaala, Twilight Connie and Trickster Cabang collided on the first turn checking Itchy Kaala, Trickster Cabang and Twilight Connie. Joffa's Mayhem and Entranced collided approaching the home turn. Artic Assassin, Sweet Suzie and Blue Yaala collided on the home turn. Trickster Cabang and Twilight Connie collided entering the home straight.

Running Gear was slow to begin.

All Inn Mia checked off Millie Marlaineapproaching the first turn. Millie Marlaine, Loud And Rowdy, Running Gear and Totally Known collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds and causing Loud And Rowdy to fall. Millie Marlaine, Running Gear and Totally Known collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.

Loud And Rowdy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
