Steward's Report
Lektra Rhino was slow to begin.
Maelynn Bale and Dundee Hornet collided on the first turn checking Maelynn Bale. Maelynn Bale, Slick Intention and Lektra Rhino collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Blazing Times marred Lektra Heckler on the home turn.
Blazing Times underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Cachia, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Blazing Times was charged with marring. Ms. Cachia pleaded not guilty to the charge, Blazing Times was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
