No Onion Thanks and Jaycee Bale collided approaching the first turn. No Onion Thanks and Vega Black collided on the first turn severely checking Vega Black. Brothers Express and Jaycee Bale collided on the first turn checking Jaycee Bale which lost ground as a result. Jaycee Bale lost considerable ground in the home straight.

Jaycee Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mild soreness in the left chest muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. Shaun Coulson regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Jaycee Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Coulson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Jaycee Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Tenge went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3L). Quick Lomar and Jaleesa Bale collided on the first turn checking Quick Lomar. Charlott's Blaze and Runaway Miss collided entering the home straight.

Hillbilly Jane and Jefferson County collided approaching the first turn severely checking Jefferson County causing it stumble. Xerxes Bale, Numerology, Extinguish aand Tom's Express collided on the first turn checking Xerxes Bale and Tom's Express.

Jefferson County underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

It was noted that the muzzle of Hillbilly Jane became dislodged during the running of the event.

Holiday In Paris and Meehan Tommy collided on the first turn checking Holiday In Paris and In A Blue. In A Blue checked off Meehan Tommy on the home turn. Holiday In Paris raced wide in the home straight.

Balbina Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right triangle and left groin. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mister Frank and Tango Icon collided on the first turn checking Mister Frank. Royal Gossip, Mister Frank and Oriental Amber collided on the first turn severely checking Royal Gossip and causing Mister Frank to fall.

Royal Gossip underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in the left groin. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mister Frank underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
