Steward's Report
All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
No Onion Thanks and Jaycee Bale collided approaching the first turn. No Onion Thanks and Vega Black collided on the first turn severely checking Vega Black. Brothers Express and Jaycee Bale collided on the first turn checking Jaycee Bale which lost ground as a result. Jaycee Bale lost considerable ground in the home straight.
Jaycee Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mild soreness in the left chest muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. Shaun Coulson regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Jaycee Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Coulson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Jaycee Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
