All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 22.1 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.5 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Champ Duran was slow to begin.

Orson King was very slow to begin (3L).

Stormy Lights, Don't Tell Julie and Cosmetic Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Don't Tell Julie and Cosmetic Rose. Don't Tell Julie, Memphis Ros, Cosmetic Rose and Orson King collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Don't Tell Julie and Orson King collided in the home straight. Flying Mercedes and Don't Tell Julie collided approaching the winning post.

Devilish John was very slow to begin (3L).

Seven Ounce and Speedy Mouse collided approaching the first turn checking Seven Ounce. Aston Rafael and Ria collided on the first turn checking Aston Rafael. Formosa's Boy and Aston Rafael collided on the home turn checking Formosa's Boy.

Our Boy Ziggy and Electro Guru were slow to begin.

Unique Roman, Mountain Stew and Moist Morton collided approaching the first turn checking Mountain Stew and Moist Morton. Mountain Stew, Electro Guru and Villanova collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Moist Morton and Villanova collided in the home straight checking Moist Morton. 

Moist Morton – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Yallock Lass.

All Fear was very slow to begin (5L).

Chuck Attack and Yallock Lass collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Chuck Attack, Fritter, Black Beaver and All Fear collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Chuck Attack and Black Beaver collided entering the home straight.

Yallock Lass underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Fritter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mild soreness in the right hamstrings and left groin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Eileen Jay, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Ellie Bliss and Jocularity collided on the first turn checking Jocularity.Ellie Bliss and Speedy Muffin collided approaching the home turn checking Ellie Bliss.

Eileen Jay underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Twilight Connie.

Master Febey and Resounding collided soon after the start checking Resounding. Stellar Rising and Ishmy Lady collided approaching the first turn checking Ishmy Lady. Lunaray and Who Is Arandt collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dark Crystal.

Joyous Venture was slow to begin.

Crown Jimmy, Cherokee Cat, Crazy Old Fool and Pontiac Bandit collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Joyous Venture and Crazy Old Fool collided entering the home straight.

Cherokee Cat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in the left chest muscle and right triangle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Sean Van Taarling failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Grudge for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Maddingly Magic was quick to begin.

Fairytale Bliss and Rockstar Haynes collided approaching the first turn. Beretta Boy and Maddingly Magic collided on the first turn severely checking Maddingly Magic. Maddingly Magic raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Itchy Kaala was slow to begin.

Aston Malmo, American Star and She's A Looker collided approaching the first turn checking American Star.

Harston Flare, Diama Miss and Camo Rex collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Harston Flare and Diama Miss collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Jayville Tahlia and Pablo's Star collided in the home straight.
