Maximum Tanner underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Jordan Cooper regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Cooper, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued. 

Ferocious Rust and Lonely Jenny were quick to begin.

Lonely Jenny and Jackie Boy collided on the first turn.  Bella Sugar and Mayfair Ronnie collided on the first turn.  Lonely Jenny and Jackie Boy collided approaching the home turn. 

Town Rocker and Beatrix Bale were quick to begin.

Warringah Bale and Mega Heist collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  

Stewards spoke to Mr Malcolm Davis regarding the undue delay in boxing Mega Heist in this event.  A warning was issued to Mr. Davis pursuant to GAR 51(9).

Ozark Bale – Late scratching at 5.57pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs Andrea Dailly was fined $100.

It's Only Money was quick to begin.  Extinguish and Tiggerlong Water were slow to begin and collided on the first turn. 

Quintessa Bale was quick to begin.

Tomida and Ned's Reward collided soon after the start checking Ned's Reward.  Malo Magic and Persuasive collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Shima Jake – Acting on a confirmed telephone call with representative Mr T. Dailly the greyhound was declared a late scratching at 5.13pm. Mr Dailly advised that the greyhound had diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Weblec Hawk and Negasi Bale were slow to begin.

Starlight Amy and Werina Express collided soon after the start.

Negasi Bale and Starlight Amy collided on the first turn. 

Dance To Forget – Late scratching at 9.35pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a mouth lesion. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Steven McDonnell (via telephone), the trainer of Barnsy after they left The Meadows on Wednesday 1 December 2021 without Stewards permission and without having the greyhound vetted following its event. Stewards fined Mr. McDonnell $50 pursuant to GAR 42 (2).
