Lil Snooze and Amron Man collided on the first turn. For The Thrill, Parasite and Swarm collided on the first turn, checking Parasite and Zipping Malibu: causing Zipping Malibu to falter ad lose ground. Lil Snooze and Swarm collided approaching the home turn. Crown Ella, Lil Snooze and Swarm collided on the home turn. Parasite raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Zipping Malibu raced wide in the home straight.
Zipping Malibu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right biceps femoris injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
