Untapped was quick to begin.  My Father's Son was slow to begin.

Enter The Son and Drako Bale collided on the first turn checking Enter The Son.  Stanley Road checked off Enter The Son on the first turn.  Overflow Lisa and Stanley Road collided on the second turn checking Overflow Lisa.  Dundee Ember checked off Enter The Son on the fourth turn.  Overflow Lisa raced wide majority of the event.

Bravery and Run Like Jess were quick to begin.  Shanlyn Hunter and Line Of Quality were slow to begin.

Bravery and Venus Light collided on the first turn severely checking Venus Light.  Highly Explosive and Mr. Speaker severely checked off Venus Light on the first turn.  Mepunga Warrior checked off Run Like Jess on the first turn.  Venus Light and Run Like Jess collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Line Of Quality and Bravery collided on the third turn checking Bravery.  Mepunga Warrior and Shanlyn Hunter collided on the third turn.  Shanlyn Hunter raced ungenerously on the fourth turn.  Mr. Speaker turned its head inwards and marred Run Like Jess in the home straight.

Venus Light underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Shanlyn Hunter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left and right carpal sprain and a right monkey muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Emma Bowles, the trainer regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the fourth turn. After considering Ms Bowles' comments, Stewards advised that a warning would be placed on the greyhound's racing manners. 

Mr. Speaker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wound to the right hind foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Joshua Formosa, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Mr. Speaker was charged with marring.  Mr. Formosa pleaded not guilty to the charge, Mr. Speaker was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

It's My Party, Orca and Kenny The Brute were quick to begin.  Sandra's Sticker and Knicks Bale were slow to begin.

Lunar Star and War Drum Express collided soon after the start.  It's My Party checked off Orca on the third turn.  Kenny The Brute clipped the heels of Orca on the third turn.  Sandra's Stricker and It’s My Party collided on the fourth turn checking Sandra's Sticker.  War Drum Express and Orca collided on the fourth turn.  Sandra's Sticker and It's My Party collided on the fifth turn.

Nikephoros and Gypsy Wyong were quick to begin.  My Margarita was slow to begin.

Whodat Diva checked off Mepunga Ruby on the first turn.  So Predictable checked off Whodat Diva on the first turn.  My Margarita checked off Kylie Keeping on the third turn.  So Predictable checked off My Margarita on the fifth turn.

Kylie Keeping underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left matatarsal fracture.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Rebellious underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
