Mystical Heist was slow to begin.

Smug Doug, Hillbilly Pearl and Mountain Stew collided on the first turn severely checking Chasing The Edge, Smug Doug, Hillbilly Pearl and Hillbilly Blaze causing Smug Doug to fall.

Smug Doug underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to both hind limbs. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stormy Lights – Late scratching at 06:12 when Mr. Scott Millard reported the greyhound to have illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Top Plain and Champ Cheese collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Top Plain and Champ Cheese collided on the home turn severely checking Top Plain. Mad Mav and Champ Cheese collided on the home turn.

Chuck Attack and Cawbourne Jean collided approaching the first turn. Aston Garner, Hurricane Ridge, Chuck Attack and Shore Lanka collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds and severely checking Cawbourne Jean. Chuck Attack and Shore Lanka collided on the home turn and in the home straight.

Buck Hunter and Big Leigh collided soon after the start checking Big Leigh.

Big Leigh underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Anthony Harding, the trainer of Big Leigh regarding the greyhounds performance soon after the start.  In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr. Harding to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Big Leigh in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

In accordance with LR 22 Mr. Kevin Ashton was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Ready To Launch checked off Iron Hand approaching the first turn. Riptide Buddy and Princess Vegas collided on the first turn checking Riptide Buddy.

Fashion Icon, Nicko In Paris and Lunaray collided approaching the first turn checking Nicko In Paris, Lunaray and Filorga Bale. Indigo Indy and Grudge collided approaching the first turn checking Indigo Indy. Nicko In Paris and Grudge collided approaching the first turn severely checking Grudge. Fashion Icon and Too Far Bro collided on the first turn checking Fashion Icon.

Grudge underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right quadriceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kraken Latte was slow to begin.

Avery Charm and Boom Buster collided on the first turn checking Boom Buster. Bella Dreamtime checked off Boom Buster on the first turn. Bella Dreamtime and Boom Buster collided in the home straight.

Kraken Latte underwent a post- race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Bella Dreamtime underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Kelleigh Smith regarding the racing manners of Bella Dreamtime in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Ms. Smith, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Charmed and Especial Elise collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and severely checking Blue Vein and Mouthy Boof.

David Scott - failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Blue Vein for racing.  A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 46(2). 

Tat Yummy – Late scratching at 10:38 due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. David Warburton was fined $100.

Tylden, Slippery Swan and Alinta's Gift were slow to begin.

Tylden and Slippery Swan collided on the first turn. King Chad and Nigerian Kaboom collided approaching the home turn checking King Chad. King Chad and Slippery Swan collided on the home turn. Nigerian Kaboom visibly eased and turned its head outwards approaching the winning post.

Nigerian Kaboom underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back injury and had thumps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Paul Hofman regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Nigerian Kaboom was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Hofman pleaded guilty to the charge, Nigerian Kaboom was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Midnight Diesel and Diva Dot collided on the first turn severely checking Blackjack Cougar and Midnight Diesel. Got To Construct and Blackjack Cougar collided on the first turn severely checking Got To Construct and checking Pat's Me Mum.

Aston Shogun checked off Tumbarumba Time on the first turn severely checking Aston Shogun and Amron Man. Maggie Pie and Tumbarumba Time collided on the home turn checking Tumbarumba Time. Aston Shogun and Ziems Park Miss collided several times in the home straight.

Silky Rose and Midnight Fussed collided soon after the start checking Silky Rose and Huskey Freckle. Solar Charge and Silky Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Solar Charge. Solar Charge and Ishmy Lady collided on the first turn checking Solar Charge.

Solar Charge underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
