Especial One faulted approaching the first turn checking Bissaka Spider and lost considerable ground as a result. Max McCartin and Dark Krystal collided approaching the first turn. Euchre John checked off Mahogany Storm on the first turn. Max McCartin and Dark Krystal collided approaching the home turn. Euchre John and Dark Krystal collided on the home turn and raced wide.
Especial One underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
