Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, observed social distance requirements,that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Afro Boy and Whiz Out were slow to begin.
Inga Atilio and Afro Boy collided soon after the start. Whiz Out and Burst The Limit soon after the start. Chasing Chops and My Name's Judy collided soon after the start. Burst The Limit and Explodes To Burn collided approaching the 300m mark. Chasing Chops and My Name's Judy collided approaching the 300m mark. Inga Atilio, Chasing Chops and My Name's Judy collided at the 250m mark; checking all three greyhounds. Inga Atilio faltered at the 200m mark. Afro Boy and My Name's Judy collided approaching the 150m mark and again at the 150m mark.
Inga Atilio underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg thigh and triangle muscle injuries. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
