Madlenka was quick to begin. Acacia Dream was slow to begin.
Acacia Dream and Magical Path collided soon after the start. Shania's Dream and Magical Path collided approaching the first turn. Shania's Dream checked off King Crow on the first turn. Lizzie's Glory checked off Bakali George approaching the home turn. King Crow and Magical Path collided approaching the home turn checking King Crow. Shania's Dream galloped on Magical Path entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
King Crow underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right thigh injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
