Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Slingshot Puzzle and Manxman were slow to begin.

Slingshot Puzzle and Blackpool Rex collided soon after the start. Manxman lost ground on the first turn. Manxman cramped in the home straight and pulled up as a result.

Manxman underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Manxman must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Slingshot Sodoku and Run Home Jack collided soon after the start. Run Home Jack and Major Flood collided several times approaching the first turn. Mintaro Bale checked off Slingshot Sodoku approaching the first turn. Mrs. Tropicana and Shifty Shirl collided on the first turn. Shifty Shirl, Major Flood and Run Home Jack raced wide entering the home straight. Run Home Jack and Slingshot Sodoku collided approaching the winning post. 

Major Currency and Swift Twitch collided soon after the start. Major Currency, Slingshot Mia and Half Pint collided approaching the first turn. Bad Medicine and Slingshot Mia collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Major Currency galloped on the heels of Conroy on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Conroy and Half Pint collided approaching the home turn, checking Slingshot Mia and Bad Medicine. Bad Medicine checked off Half Pint on the home turn. Half Pint checked off Slingshot Mia on the home turn. Bad Medicine checked off Conroy entering the home straight. Half Pint raced wide in the home straight. Swift Twitch and Slingshot Mia collided several times in the home straight. 

Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track following heavy rainfall in the area and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Wild Keyra was quick to begin.

Wild Keyra crossed to the running rail approaching the first turn, checking Blackpool Bart and Wow Star. Wild Keyra and Wow Star collided approaching the first turn. Quincee Bale galloped on Wow Star approaching the home turn, checking Quincee Bale, Wow Star, Blackpool Bart and Wild Keyra. 

Mr. B. Stockdale was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Matilda Flyer pursuant to GAR 33.

Smokin' Zag, Matilda Flyer and Zambora Bear were quick to begin. Fernando Alessia and Balts Orson were slow to begin.

Matilda Flyer checked off Slingshot Trojan in the home straight. 

Ranako Bale and Lonely Lisa were quick to begin. 

Combust and Purple Storm collided soon after the start. Peponi Bale and Golden Quest collided approaching the first turn. Golden Quest and Purple Storm collided approaching the first turn. Peponi Bale, Lonely Lisa and Combust collided on the first turn, checking Lonely Lisa. Purple Storm checked off Golden Quest approaching the home turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Combust- the winner of the event.

Buster Giblet was slow to begin.

Little Tiger and Oamaru Bale collided soon after the start. Oamaru Bale checked off Zipping Heat approaching the first turn. Zipping Heat and Little Tiger collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Little Tiger checked off Zipping Heat on the first turn. Maximum Cook checked off Zipping Heat on the home turn. Maximum Cook raced wide in the home straight. 

Following the event, Stewards inspected the track after further rainfall in the local area and were satified it was satisfactory for racing. 

Rilynn Bale was quick to begin. 

Cruisy's Special and Hear The Drum collided soon after the start. Cruisy's Special and Cool Customer collided approaching the first turn. Taltarni Black and Cawbourne Coco collided appraoching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Cool Customer and Rilynn Bale collided on the first turn, checking Rilynn Bale and Langfield Bale. Hear The Drum and Cruisy's Special collided on the first turn, checking Cruisy's Special and Cawbourne Coco. Cruisy's Special and Cawbourne Coco collided approaching the home turn. Rilynn Bale and Hear The Drum collided on the home turn. Cruisy's Special checked off Cawbourne Coco entering the home straight. Exclusively Mine and Cruisy's Special raced wide in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Cool Customer - the winner of the event.

Cruisy's Special underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abraided paws and split webbing to both hind legs.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Rilynn Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

An out of competition sample was taken from Numinous on 3rd of October pursuant to GAR 79A.

Close Encounter was quick to begin. 

Numinous and Crown Ella collided soon after the start. Hacker and Numinous collided approaching the first turn. Numinous and Crown Ella collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Crown Ella raced wide entering the home staright and in the home straight. Numinous checked off Hacker approaching the winning post and collided with Crown Ella. 

Following this event, Stewards inspected the track after continued rainfall in the local area and were satisfied the track was satisfactory for racing.

More Speed was slow to begin.

Gunai Outlaw and Cyber Crime collided soon after the start. Gunai Outlaw, Cyber Crime, Royal Gossip and Smokin' Ziggy collided approaching the first turn, checking Cyber Crime, which stumbled as a result. Royal Gossip checked off Smokin' Ziggy on the first turn. Cyber Crime checked off Royal Gossip entering the home straight. Royal Gossip checked off Smokin' Ziggy in the home straight. Short Tyson raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Southern Thunder and Cairnlea Winnie were slow to begin.

Southern Thunder and High Plain collided soon after the start. Malicious Yaala and Bad Bailey collided approaching the first turn. Black Pheonix, Bad Bailey and Malicious Yaala collided approaching the first turn. High Plain checked off Fugacious collided approaching the home turn, checking Southern Thunder. High Plain and Southern Thunder collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
