Why Not Hutch was slow to begin.
It's A Drama and Heidi collided on the first turn. Pride Into Power checked off Locked And Ready on the first turn. On Time Cash and It's A Drama collided on the first turn, checking One Time Cash. Pride Into Power and Heidi collided approaching the home turn. Heidi marred Pride Into Power in the home straight.
Heidi underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Christine Haigh, the trainer of Heidi regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Heidi was charged with marring. Ms Haigh pleaded guilty to the charge, Heidi was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
