Steward's Report
Talk Talk Talk and Zulu Eyes collided soon after the start, checking Talk Talk Talk. Apache Chaz, Waldemar Bale, Cruisy's Special and Slingshot Reaper collided approaching the first turn, checking Cruisy's Special. Waldemar Bale checked off Cruisy's Special on the first turn. Waldemar Bale raced wide on the home turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Merry Lass - the winner of the event.
Following the event, Talk Tal Talk displayed signs of distress in the wash bay area. The greyhound was pronounced deceased by the On-Track Veterinarian. Routine samples were taken and an autopsy will be conducted in accordance with GAR 78.
Supplementary report - Following the meeting held on 15 September 2021, an autopsy was conducted on the greyhound Talk Talk Talk which was pronounced deceased by the On-Track Veterinarian following the running of Race 7.The cause of death was acute abdominal haemorrhage.
