Steward's Report
Kennelling was conducted mannually due to IT issues and closed five minutes late as a result.
Witty and Miss Rhubarb were quick to begin. Tough Talk and Itchy Nose were slow to begin.
Tough Talk faltered soon after the start and trailed the field through out; underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left sartorius muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Miss Rhubarb turned its head outwards soon after the start, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mrs Jennifer Torr declined the option to have the greyhound re–vetted. Stewards spoke to Mrs Torr, the representative of Miss Rhubarb regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Miss Rhubarb was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Torr pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Rhubarb was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
