Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Trainer and Kennel Representative Mr William McMahon, regarding the kennels expectations for this event as the field all emanate out of the same training establishment. The Stewards noted Mr McMahons advice, monitored the race and market fluctuations.
Dr Esther – The frequency of racing was discussed with Representative Mr William McMahon, the comments were noted.
Dr. Julienne was slow to begin.
Dr Cinny lost ground over the concluding stages of the event, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury and a spike wound on the left hind toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Dr. Esther underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to frequency of racing - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Dr. Fraya - the winner of the event.
The judge semaphored the incorrect numbers of 1 – 4 – 6 – 5. This was corrected to 4– 6 – 5 – 1 before the All Clear was given.
