Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to the starting boxes failing to open. All greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes, vetted by the on-track Veterinarian and passed fit to race.
This event was hand-started due to a malfunction of the boxes.
Freya Bale was quick to begin.
Handsome Jack underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have abraisons to left hind leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Freya Bale – the winner of the event.
