Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Aaron Debattista, regarding the scratching of the greyhound Mountain Snake. Stewards noted Mr Debattistas' comments and took no further action.
Mr Mark Giddings was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Redleg Bull Ant pursuant to GAR 33.
A pre-race sample was taken from All Inn Cash.
Brick Top underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to racing manners in the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Aaron Debattista regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Brick Top was charged with marring. Mr Debattista pleaded guilty to the charge, and Brick Top was suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127(a) and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
