Steward's Report
Bonnie Too Good was quick to begin. Downstream was slow to begin.
Javi - checked off heels in the back straight and lost ground for the remainder of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was reported to have injuries to the right hind calf and hamstring. A 7 day stand down period was issued. Trainer Marlene Schmidt advised Stewards the performance in tonight's event was out of character for the greyhound and expected a more forward showing. Ms Schmidt added that in her opinion the injury sustained and a recent drop in weight over several starts were likely contributing factors to the run. Stewards noted her comments.
