Echo Chamber underwent a post–race veterinary examination after it fell soon after the start.A integument laceration injury was reported . A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Drive Through – winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr Ben Joske regarding the racing manners of Drive Through entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Joske, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
