Burn Time was slow to begin.
Hushing Dusk and Golden Teddy collided soon after the start. Whodat Diva checked off Mepunga Sparkle on the first turn. Bark Healy and Golden Teddy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Nine To Seven checked off Hushing Dusk on the first turn. Mepunga Sparkle checked off Nine To Seven entering the home straight checking Burn Time. Golden Teddy tired over the concluding stages.
Golden Teddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
