Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Gene's Entity galloped on Pure Ruby approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Arcus visibly eased approaching the first turn. Arcus raced wide on the home turn.

Arcus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3, no apparent injury could be detected.  Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Santoro, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1), Arcus was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Santoro pleaded not guilty to the charge, Arcus was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Unique Faith was quick to begin.

Miss Molly May went up with the lids at box rise.  Divine Calling checked off Okay Flash on the home turn.  Divine Calling checked off Drain The Swamp entering the home straight.  Drain The Swamp and Miss Molly May collided on several occasions in the home straight.  Pyrenees Prada checked off Inga Atilio approaching the winning post.

Blue Entourage checked off Illumination soon after the start.  Charm Offensive checked off Blackpool Homer on the first turn.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately one minute due to Stewards holding for the completion of a Japanese Gallops race.

Acacia Dream checked off Ruby Arizona soon after the start.  Aston Xavier and Ruby Arizona collided on the first turn checking Ruby Arizona.  Aston Xavier galloped on Golden Child on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Inter Vince and Miss Marlee Moo collided on the home turn.  Miss Marlee Moo and Aston Xavier collided entering the home straight.

Riverdale Goldie was slow to begin.

Strict Liability and Take A Sunflower collided on the first turn checking Strict Liability, Little Yaala, Quick Income and East Street.  Strict Liability and Take A Sunflower collided entering the home straight.

Super Nat was quick to begin.  Mississippi Mud and Shim Girl were slow to begin.

Inter Lana, Papa Panda and Mississippi Mud collided on the first turn severely checking Inter Lana which faltered and tailed off as a result.  Shim Girl checked off Papa Panda entering the home straight.

Inter Lana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Annie My Mate checked off Al's Vixen approaching the first turn.  Our Rock Man, Alpine Blaze, Brilliant Brian and Al's Vixen collided on the first turn checking Our Rock Man, Al's Vixen and Friesian Flyer.  Brilliant Brian and Al's Vixen collided entering the back straight checking Al's Vixen and Our Rock Man.  Brilliant Brian and Annie My Mate collided on the home turn checking Brilliant Brian.  Friesian Flyer checked off Alpine Blaze in the home straight.  

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Our Rock Man, Ms Michelle Berry and acting in accordance with GAR 86(o) Stewards issued a warning to Ms Berry for inappropriate language behind the starting boxes. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Gellar Bale with Mrs Tammy Kennedy-harris and noted her comments.

Bad Bailey was quick to begin.  Aston Malmo was slow to begin.

Our Flying Bolt and Aston Malmo collided on the first turn checking Our Flying Bolt which stumbled as a result.  Cryptic Signal and Aston Shadow collided approaching the home turn checking Cryptic Signal and Diva Dot.  Fly Havoc checked off Aston Shadow entering the home straight.  Our Flying Bolt checked off Diva Dot entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Malt And Scotch. Stewards spoke to Mr Adam Rademaker, the trainer as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards.  The comments of Mr. Rademaker were noted.

Take A Daisy was quick to begin.  Riverdale Bear was slow to begin.

Riverdale Bonnie galloped on Take A Daisy on the first turn checking Take A Daisy, Riverdale Bonnie, Malt And Scotch and Riverdale Bear.  Riverdale Bonnie checked off Riverdale Bear in the home straight.  

Malt And Scotch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind lost/torn nail. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Fernando's Flare underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr John Chircop, the trainer of regarding the greyhound’s performance.  In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr. Chircop to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Fernando's Flare in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
