Steward's Report
Aston Anita was quick to begin.
Steel Magnolia was slow to begin.
Blueberry Hill and Cool Limit collided on the first turn checking Blueberry Hill. Aston Anita faltered in the back straight, lost ground and tailed off as a result. Cool Limit checked off Birdbrook approaching the home turn. Nicko In Paris checked off Cool Limit on the home turn. Jedda Milne and Blueberry Hill collided in the home straight.
Aston Anita underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury and a right achilles tendon injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Double 'Em Up - the winner of the event.
