Steward's Report
Bark Healy was slow to begin.
Zipping Ticket and Gypsy Urana collided soon after the start. Drako Bale and Gypsy Wong collided soon after the start. Bark Healy checked off Gypsy Urana approaching the second turn. Drako Bale and Gypsy Wong collided approaching the second turn. Gypsy Toowoomba checked off Drako Bale entering the back straight, causing Gypsy Toowoomba to contact the running rail and check Zipping Ticket. Zipping Ticket and Gypsy Urana collided collided in the home straight. Gypsy Toowoomba tired over the concluding stages.
Gypsy Toowoomba underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Miss K Heinrich, the representative of Gypsy Toowoomba regarding the greyhounds performance in the concluding stages. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Miss Heinrich to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Gypsy Toowoomba in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. Miss K Heinrich stated that it was the greyhounds first time stepping up in distance and in her opinion tired over the concluding stages.
Supplementary Report 19.08.2021:
Miss K Heinrich reported to Stewards that upon examination the greyhound presented no injury.
