Fernando Febey crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Mav's Magic and Fernando Febey collided at the 250m mark.  Lucky Blonde and Leggero collided at the 250m mark.

Black Jam - Late scratching at 7:46am when trainer Mr Alfio Giacca reported the greyhound to have an illness/vomiting (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Motor Head Moe - Late scratching at 11:12am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Ms Katrina Evans was fined $100.

Booker and Natalia Lee collided soon after the start.  Pure Claire, Booker and Natalia Lee collided at the 300m mark checking Booker.  Explosive Way and Booker collided at the 250m mark checking Explosive Way.  Explosive Way visibly eased at the 50m mark.

Explosive Way underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a neck injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Brent Merton, the owner of Explosive Way regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) Explosive Way was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Merton pleaded guilty to the charge, Explosive Way was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Frainy's Well - New declared weight of 31.2kgs, last raced at 30.0kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Charlie's Jar.

Charlie's Jar and Carraragarmungee collided soon after the start.  Frainy's Well shifted out wide soon after the start.  Dolly crossed to the rail at the 200m mark checking Illumination and No Jewels.

Tsar Bell and Back Net collided soon after the start.  Wiggle It Bart and Tsar Bell collided at the 300m mark causing Wiggle It Bart to cross out.  Chillout Cookie turned its head inwards and collided with Back Net and Princess Giggles at the 300m mark checking Princess Giggles.  Chillout Cookie turned its head inwards and collided several times with Back Net from approaching the 50m mark to the winning post.

Chillout Cookie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right forepaw and an abrasion and bruising to the left forepaw.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Josh Duncan, the representative of Chillout Cookie regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 300m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Chillout Cookie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Duncan pleaded guilty to the charge, Chillout Cookie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Two Face and Three Bears collided soon after the start.  Hartland Gus and Alfie Mikado collided at the 300m mark.  Three Bears shifted out wide at the 200m mark checking Galloping Albi.  Two Face and Galloping Albi collided at the 150m mark checking both greyhounds.  Alfie Mikado and Two Face collided at the 50m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Alfie Mikado - the winner of the event.

Make A Pat - Late scratching at 8:16am, Stewards Non-Penalty.

Lachie's Legacy was slow to begin.

Lachie's Legacy and Max Amigo collided approaching the 250m mark severely checking both greyhounds causing Max Amigo to falter and tail off as a result.

Max Amigo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Tinker Dazz - Late scratching at 11:53am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left foreleg dew claw injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mr David Condon was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Superior Jessica pursuant to GAR 33.
