Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face-masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Eddy's Dream was very slow to begin (6 lengths).

Evaded and Iron Lad collided soon after the start.  Eye Spy Skye and Tsunami Oubre collided approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.  

Eddy's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Terry Meyer, the trainer of Eddy's Dream regarding its boxing manners and very slow start.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Eddy's Dream must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

My Girl Maddi was quick to begin.

My Girl Maddi crossed to the rail soon after the start checking McInerney, resulting in McInerney to then cross to the outside fence.  My Girl Maddi and Sitizano Rocks collided approaching the 200m mark checking Sitizano Rocks.  My Girl Maddi and Val Ali collided approaching the 150m mark.

Comeback Jack and Rupert's Boy were slow to begin.

Comeback Jack crossed to the outside fence approaching the 250m mark checking Rambo Bobbie and Man In Blue.  Rupert's Boy checked off Rambo Bobbie approaching the 200m mark.

Heaven's Tower was slow to begin.

Heaven's Tower crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark.  Murt Law crossed to the rail approaching the 150m mark checking Ms. Lucky Leaves.

Dakar and Mumma's Bear were slow to begin.

Dakar shifted out and collided with Mumma's Bear soon after the start, checking Mumma's Bear.  Zipping Hunter crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark.  Mumma's Bear checked off Zipping Hunter approaching the 150m mark.

Jordanville Jet, Duncan and Hello George were slow to begin.

Jordanville Jet and Duncan collided soon after the start and again approaching the 150m mark checking Jordanville Jet.  Untested and Dr. Ryker collided approaching the 100m mark checking Dr. Dyker.  

Jordanville Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest and right quadriceps injuries.  A 10 day stands down period was imposed.

Apollo One, Tsar Bell and Wake Up Dusty were slow to begin.

Mr David Bourke was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Wake Up Dusty pursuant to GAR 33.

Shining Gem and Ivy's Bobby collided approaching the 250m mark checking both greyhounds.  Galloping Suzy turned its head outwards and visibly eased approaching the 100m mark.

Galloping Suzy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Lund, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 100m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Galloping Suzy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge, Galloping Suzy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted. Ms. Lund advised Stewards that the greyhound will now be retired.

Due to Port Augusta thoroughbreds being postponed this event was rescheduled to race at 1.29pm.

Golden Ratio was slow to begin.

Kid Malawi, Viral, Blair's Tulip and Golden Years collided approaching the 300m mark checking Blair's Tulip and Golden Years.  

Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Lund, the representative regarding the racing manners of Kismet Storm approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Ms Lund, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Scuba Steve and Don't Know Jake were slow to begin.

Pat's Me Mum and Tom For Shaw collided soon after the start.  Tom For Shaw crossed to the rail and collided with Don't Know Jake and Scuba Steve approaching the 200m mark checking all three greyhounds.

Perfect Crippa checked off Major Winston soon after the start. Perfect Crippa, Major Winston, King Kaboom and Hartland Digger collided approaching the 150m mark checking King Kaboom.  Major Winston and Hartland Digger collided approaching the 50m mark checking Hartland Digger.
