There was no head on vision for this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Sparkle Debacle.
Orcades, Dark Krystal and Zipping Celeste collided on the first turn checking Dark Crystal. Sparkle Debacle and Dark Krystal collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Jupiter King crossed to the inside approaching the home turn and collided with Zipping Celeste and Burning Betty causing both greyhounds to fall, Sparkle Debacle fell as a result of this incident. Orcades and Tylden collided in the home straight.
Sparkle Debacle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadriceps injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Zipping Celeste underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
