Tomato Tears contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Yellow Brick checked off West Song on the home turn. Mario Bale checked off Blow Me Kisses on the home turn. High Plain raced wide approaching the winning post.
Tomato Tears underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions, brusing and spike wounds to the left hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
