Affair Bit and Aston Edwin collided on the first turn checking Aston Edwin. Saint Phoenix checked off Affair Bit approaching the home turn. Pheme checked off Tea Pot Creek approaching the home turn severely checking Pheme. Pheme and Aston Edwin collided entering the home straight. Saint Phoenix contacted the running rail entering the home straight.
Saint Phoenix underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left foreleg shoulder joint. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
