Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Aunt Finnie on Thursday, 17 June 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Just In Time, Myola Sunrise and Abby's Illusion collided soon after the start. Invictus Caleb and Aston Valkyrie collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Aston Valkyrie. Invictus Caleb, Aunt Finnie and Myola Sunrise collided on the first turn; checking Aunt Finnie, which fell. Aston Valkyrie checked off Myola Sunrise on the first turn. Myola Sunrise raced wide approaching the winning post.
Aunt Finnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hindleg hamstrings injuries. A three day stand down period was imposed.
