Steward's Report
A sample was taken from White Hot Burn upon arrival at the course.
Mac Marvel was quick to begin. White Hot Burn was slow to begin.
White Hot Burn, Sheik Of Tweek and Walking On Fire collided soon after the start checking Sheik Of Tweek which lost ground and pulled up. Tobin Frost and Lyrical Master collided on the first turn checking Tobin Frost and White Hot Burn.
Sheik Of Tweek underwent a post-race veterinary examination an was found to have an injury to the left triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Abraham Formosa, representative regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Sheik Of Tweek was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Sheik Of Tweek was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Mac Marvel - the winner of the event.
