Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Head Bouncer was slow to begin.
Theatre Of War, King Of All and Deputy Sam collided soon after the start. Two Rowers, Edgy Jack and Latitude collided approaching the first turn checking Edgy Jack, Theatre Of War and King Of All. Two Rowers and Latitude collided on the first turn checking Two Rowers, Latitude, King Of All and Edgy Jack. Two Rowers checked off Theatre Of War approaching the home turn.
Edgy Jack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right dew claw injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Head Bouncer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury and right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr B Merton, the trainer of Head Bouncer regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Head Bouncer must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
