A pre-race sample was taken from Bomber's Train.
Let's Send It was quick to begin. Mt. View Redgie was slow to begin.
Celtic Deed and Mt. View Redgie collided approaching the first turn. Moonahcullah Lad checked off Bomber's Train approaching the first turn. Moonacullah Lad crossed to the outside and collided with Mt. View Redgie and Celtic Deed on the first turn causing Celtic Deed and Moonacullah Lad to lose ground. Bomber's Train, Al's Brother and Mt. View Moon collided approaching the home turn causing Bomber's Train to fall.
Bomber's Train underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing on the left hind paw. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
