Alpaca Delilah and Sally Limes were slow to begin.
Rich Con, Chillout Cookie, Maximum Cook and Tears I'm Here collided on the first turn checking Chillout Cookie, Maximum Cook and Tears I'm Here. Chillout Cookie turned its head outwards approaching the home turn. Chillout Cookie and Tears I'm Here collided approaching the home turn. Tears I'm Here and Alpaca Delilah collided on the home turn.
Alpaca Delilah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps and back muscle injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Chillout Cookie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle, left hip injury and an abrasion to the right front foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mrs Julie Chilcott regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Chillout Cookie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Chillout Cookie was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
