Rooster Faith underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right front toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Rhapsody Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Trent Blacker, the handler of Rhapsody Queen regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Rhapsody Queen was charged with marring. Mr Blacker pleaded guilty to the charge, Rhapsody Queen was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blazing Butler and Cold Feet were slow to begin.

White Nikita crossed in soon after the start checking Tralee Riot. Blair's Tulip and Tralee Riot collided approaching the 300m mark. Zipping Mabel stumbled at box rise and collided with Sambar Chief. Sambar Chief and Spud collided soon after the start. Sonic Lauryn and Zipping Monica collided soon after the start. Zipping Mabel checked off Sambar Chief approaching the 300m mark. Sonic Lauryn checked off Zipping Monica approaching the 200m mark.

She's Serious - Late scratching at 9:14am when trainer, Mr Steve Daniliuk reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
