Smooth Talker was slow to begin. Stellar Rising and Prince Of Idol collided appraoching the first turn. Ishmy Neecy, Stellar Rising and Prince Of Idol collided on the first turn severely checking Stellar Rising and Prince Of Idol. Bounce Back and Kraken Doll collided on the first turn checking Bounce Back. Stellar Rising lost ground approaching the second turn. Mepunga Sparkle and Bounce Back collided in the home straight.
Stellar Rising underwent a poat-race veterianry examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Walter Methven regarding the racing manners of Stellar Rising approaching the second turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Methven, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the second turn.
