Athletica was quick to begin.  Chechezz and Rorshach Bale were slow to begin.  Enjoy Cruising and Survivor Sal collided soon after the start.  Survivor Sal, Chechezz and Rorshach Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Survivor Sal and Chechezz.  Miss Penguin and Zipping Bart collided approaching the first turn.  Midnight Reign, Miss Penguin and Zipping Bart collided on the first turn, checking Midnight Reign, Miss Penguin and Chechezz and causing Zipping Bart to race wide.  Enjoy Cruising checked off Athletica approaching the second turn, checking Rorshach Bale.  Midnight Reign and Chechezz collided approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds.  Miss Penguin, Survivor Sal and Chechezz collided entering the back straight, checking Survivor Sal and Chechezz.  Zipping Bart and Athletica collided on the third turn, checking Zipping Bart.  Midnight Reign checked off Athletica approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. 

Chechezz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Mumma Hook.

Peter Pettigrew and Rapid Incline were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Mumma Hook and Mr. Patong collided on the first turn.  Rumero Reason checked off Mumma Hook approaching the second turn.  Rumero Reason checked off Amaroo My Girl on the second turn.  Rumero Reason, Amaroo My Girl and Rapid Incline collided on the third turn.  Rumero Reason and Amaroo My Girl collided approaching the home turn.  Mumma Hook and Rapid Incline collided on the home turn.

Break O'Day, Know Class and Butterfly Bling were slow to begin.  Zipping Joe and Know Class collided approaching the first turn.  Know Class and Sweet It Is collided approaching the second turn.  Know Class and Butterfly Bling collided on the third turn, checking Butterfly Bling and Sweet It Is.  Break O'Day checked off Supersonic Hawk on the fifth turn.
