A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from All Inn Zoe, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Kraken Thunder was slow to begin.
Jono's Express crossed to the inside soon after the start. Just The Marjen crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Kid Malawi, Maximum Capers and Kraken Thunder. Kraken Thunder, Maximum Capers, Kid Malawi and Just The Marjen collided several times approaching the 250m mark checking Kraken Thunder, Maximum Capers and Kid Malawi.
