Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Remi.
Aston Remi and Oreo Lady were slow to begin.
Aston Remi checked off Lovin' The Sun soon after the start. Perfect Flossy and Georgia Pines collided several times from approaching the 250m mark to approaching the 50m mark.
Georgia Pines underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right flexor tendon and right deltoid muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Natalie Perkins regarding the racing manners of Georgia Pines approaching the 250m mark. After hearing evidence from Ms Perkins, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Perfect Flossy - the winner of the event.
