Got Me Smarty – Late scratching at 2:37pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Robert Colpoys was fined $100.
Little Swagger - New declared weight of 27.1kg, last raced at 25.7kg.
Scandalise, Little Swagger, Buzz Out and Prinny Arandt collided soon after the start checking Little Swagger. La La Jersey and Go Wheels collided approaching the first turn. Buzz Out and La La Jersey collided on the first turn checking Buzz Out. Scandalise, Prinny Arandt, La La Jersey and Go Wheels collided on the first turn checking Scandalise, Prinny Arandt and La La Jersey. Prinny Arandt and Burning Betty collided repeatedly in the home straight causing both greyhounds to become unbalanced.
Little Swagger underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Buzz Out underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Go Wheels - the winner of the event.
