Tears No More – Late scratching at 11.02am when trainer Ms Tracey Salter reported the greyhound to have a fibula injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tears I'm Here was quick to begin. Jump Into Action and No Regrets collided soon after the start. Bye The Way and Little Trucker collided approaching the first turn. Jump Into Action, Little Trucker and No Regrets collided on the first turn checking Little Trucker, No Regrets and Jump Into Action. Bye The Way race wide in the front straight. Another Episode checked off Invincible Night in the front straight. Jump Into Action and Invincible Night collided approaching the third turn. Little Trucker, Another Episode and Jump Into Action collided on the fourth turn. Little Trucker and Another Episode collided approaching the home turn. Little Trucker checked off No Regrets approaching the home turn causing both greyhounds to collided.
