Tears No More – Late scratching at 11.02am when trainer Ms Tracey Salter reported the greyhound to have a fibula injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Martin Hanke regarding the racing manners of Affair Bit approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr Hanke, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. .

Divine Dixie, Mr. Mufasa and Polly's Yohanna collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Aston Antoine and Code Blue Sue collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Divine Dixie checked off King Gristle on the first turn causing Divine Dixie and Mr. Mufasa to collided and race wide as a result. Harrell Bale, Code Blue Sue and Aston Antoine collided approaching the second turn. Harrell Bale and King Gristle collided entering the back straight. Harrell Bale and Code Blue Sue collided approaching the home turn. Harrell Bale and King Gristle collided approaching the home turn. Divine Dixie checked off Mr. Mufasa approaching the home turn causing Divine Dixie to race wide as a result.

Ultimate Bling checked off Knicks Bale approaching the winning post.

Carry On Liam was slow to begin.

Keenando crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Carry On Liam and Full Moon Fever. Fernando Bluey crossed to the rail soon after the start. Carry On Angel and My Girl Kizzy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.Full Moon Fever checked off Carry On Angel on the first turn checking Carry On Angel, severely checking Carry On Liam and Full Moon Fever causing Full Moon Fever to fall as a result. Denzell Bale and Fernando Bluey collided approaching the second turn and again entering the back straight checking Denzell Bale. Carry On Angel checked off Denzell Bale approaching the home turn.

Denzell Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Carry On Liam underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Full Moon Fever underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
