Also Arandt was slow to begin. Just A Fidget checked off Cute Patootie approaching the first turn checking Shifting Sands.Ethan's Fury crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Cute Patootie and Geena Bale. Also Arandt and Just A Fidget collided on the first turn, causing Just A Fidget to race wide. Also Arandt raced wide entering the back straight.
Shifting Sands underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Ethan's Fury - the winner of the event.
